When it comes to both looks, these were not the Oscars outings I had envisioned for her, so overall, I am disappointed.

Falling Flat

When it comes to Nicole Kidman’s Chanel Spring 2026 gold metallic fibre dress, I will assume it translated better in person. As presented, it falls flat. Between the colour and the frayed edges, it reminds me of a rice sack. Chanel High Jewellery completed her look.

Understated Exit

Gracie Abrams wore a Chanel Pre-Fall 2026 dress styled with Chanel High Jewellery. The look felt softly romantic with its delicate detailing, but it also leaned quite safe, especially in the context of a night where others were attempting more directional statements.
